To celebrate the holiday season, LÄRABAR teamed up with author and creator Asia Lui Chapa of @ac_homecafe to curate a menu of cute and cozy drink pairings for their most indulgent lineup, made with 100% real ingredients.

Earlier this month, Asia, alongside the LÄRABAR team, served up these cozy combos at “The LÄRABAR,” a holiday-inspired pop-up in Brooklyn, NY where visitors got to sample the drinks and enjoy their favorite LÄRABAR flavors.

With over 20 flavors, LÄRABAR has something for everyone that you can trust to be 100% real, made with recognizable ingredients and taste undeniably delicious.

Fa La La Latte – Pairs well with LÄRABAR Gingerbread

Ingredients [1 serving]

  • 12 ounces hot coffee
  • 1 tablespoon caramel sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1-2 dashes of Allspice, to taste (optional)
  • Milk or creamer of choice, to taste

Begin by making your coffee. You can do this by using an electric drip coffee maker, a French press, or a pour-over kit. While your coffee is brewing, combine the caramel sauce, brown sugar, and allspice in your mug - stirring it slightly so the spices, sauce, and coffee combine seamlessly. When your coffee is done brewing, pour it into your mug, add in some milk or creamer (if using), stir & enjoy!

Sweetie Pie – Pairs well with LÄRABAR Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients [1 serving]

  • 10 ounces milk of choice
  • 2 ounces freshly brewed espresso
  • 2 tablespoons white mocha sauce
  • 1 dash of ground cloves (optional)
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon graham cracker crumbles, for garnish (optional)

Begin by brewing your espresso. While that is brewing, start heating up your milk. You can do this by using the steam wand on your espresso machine (if you have one), heating it up on the stove until it comes to a light boil, or heating it in the microwave for two minutes. Next, combine the white mocha sauce and cloves in your mug and add in your espresso - stirring slightly so the sauces, spices, and coffee will combine seamlessly. Then, top off your espresso shot with your steamed milk. Lastly, top off your spiced white mocha with a generous helping of whipped cream and graham cracker crumbles

Cozy Cocoa – Pairs well with LÄRABAR Double Chocolate Truffle

Ingredients [1 serving]

  • 10 ounces milk of choice
  • 1½  tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 generous pinch of sea salt, plus more for garnish
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • A drizzle of chocolate sauce (optional)

In a small saucepan, add your milk, cocoa powder, sea salt, and vanilla extract and turn up the heat to medium-high. Make sure to stir your soon-to-be hot chocolate often to make sure all of the cocoa powder clumps dissolve. Once your hot chocolate comes to a light boil, pour it into your mug and top it with a little mountain of whipped cream, a drizzle of chocolate sauce, and an extra pinch of sea salt.

Chunky Monkey – Pairs well with LÄRABAR Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip

Ingredients [1 serving]

  • ½ ounce banana syrup (store-bought or homemade, ingredients below)
  • 2 ounces freshly brewed espresso
  • Ice
  • 10 ounces milk of choice
  • A sprinkle of cinnamon powder, for garnish (optional)

Banana Syrup Ingredients

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 4 ounces water
  • ½ banana, sliced
  • A pinch of sea salt

How to Make Banana Syrup: Start by combining all of the above banana syrup ingredients in a small saucepan on medium heat. Stir often until all of the sugar dissolves. Once the mixture comes to a light boil, turn down the heat to medium-low and let your syrup simmer for five to seven minutes. While it’s simmering, break up the softened bananas with your spoon to release their flavor. Once it’s done simmering, take your syrup off the heat, strain, and let your mixture cool. Store your banana syrup in an airtight container in the fridge for up to five days.

Start assembling your drink by brewing your espresso. While that’s brewing, add the banana syrup, ice, and milk to your cup. Then, slowly pour your espresso over an ice cube or over the back of a spoon to create the layered effect. Top off your coffee with a sprinkle of cinnamon, stir, and enjoy!

Lemon Sparkler – Pairs well with LÄRABAR Lemon

Ingredients [1 serving]

  • ½ ounce espresso syrup (homemade or store-bought, ingredients below)
  • 2 ounces lemon juice
  • Ice
  • 8 ounces sparkling water
  • Lemon slice, for garnish (optional)
  • Espresso syrup ingredients
  • 4 ounces freshly brewed espresso
  • ½ cup granulated sugar

How to make espresso syrup: Start by brewing your espresso. Once brewed (and still hot), combine with the granulated sugar and stir until all of the sugar has dissolved. Let cool and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.

Begin assembling your drink by adding your espresso syrup and lemon juice to your glass. Next, add in your ice and top with sparkling water. Garnish your espresso sparkling lemonade with a slice of lemon. Stir before enjoying… cheers!
