Pankaj Sharma is president of U.S. Retail Yogurt. He is responsible for the Yogurt business of General Mills.
In his previous role, Sharma served as marketing vice president, Europe and Australia (EUAU), based in Switzerland. He had responsibility for the EUAU marketing function and the region brand development teams across all General Mills businesses.
In that four-year span, Sharma successfully implemented the brand development organization for the EUAU region and evolved the region into a strong development and activation model.
In addition, he significantly increased the innovation pipeline for the region, doubling the rate over four years and creating the Launch to Learn team.
His personal passion for building brands and developing marketing talent has resulted in stronger and more effective marketing throughout the region, and sustained outstanding top and bottom line results.
Sharma joined General Mills in 2014 after 17 years of global sales and marketing experience across developed and emerging markets with Unilever. His expertise spanned development, activation and profit and loss roles in home, personal care and foods in several worldwide markets.
