The General Mills Foundation invests in and collaborates with community organizations that unleash the power of food to help spark social change.

Worldwide, more than 1 billion people do not have enough to eat -  more than the populations of the United States, Canada and the European Union combined.1

That hunger is a symptom of poverty.

Studies have shown agriculture is the most effective driver of economic growth in the world’s poorest countries.2

As part of our work in communities, the General Mills Foundation collaborates with community organizations – plus corporate and brand partners – that strive to nuture families, strengthen communities and achieve our mission of  Nourishing Lives

Among these partners are Feeding America and the Global FoodBanking Network.
