MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota – General Mills received high marks in DiversityInc’s recently-released 2015 Top 50 Companies for Diversity list, which honors companies with leading corporate diversity and inclusion programs and practices. 

Earning the 19th spot on the Top 50 Companies for Diversity list out of more than 1,000 participating companies, DiversityInc applauds General Mills for its strong leadership in the community, accountability for diversity results and employee resource groups. Methodology
Each year, DiversityInc invites companies across the globe to complete a detailed survey for consideration on the Top 50 Companies for Diversity list. The survey assesses performance based on three key areas of diversity management:

  • Talent Pipeline: Workforce breakdown, recruitment, diameter of existing talent and structures
  • Equitable Talent Development: Employee resource groups, mentoring, philanthropy, movement and fairness
  • CEO/Leadership Commitment: Accountability for results, personal communications and visibility
