Cheerios, Kix, Total, Dora the Explorer and Chex are among the more than dozen General Mills cereals that meet federal requirements for the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC).
WIC has served some of the most nutritionally at-risk or needy people in the United States since 1974.
General Mills believes nutrition education is an important component of WIC, and is committed to making complimentary nutrition education materials available for distribution in WIC clinics.
