Site Visit Information
If your organization applies for a 2010-2011 Celebrating Communities of Color grant, we may request a site visit during the month of January. The purpose of the site visit is for us to learn more about your organization and/or the proposed program. We are physically unable to visit every organization that applies for a grant, but will visit as many as necessary to obtain a good understanding of the proposals we receive from your organizations.

Overview of Site Visits
All site visits will last approximately 30 minutes and will be attended by three to four General Mills representatives.

Please be prepared to cover the following topics during your site visit:

  • Brief overview of the organization including its top priorities/focus areas.
  • Overview of proposed program including the goal(s) and components.
  • Understanding of what impact this program will have on your community. How is it unique/innovative?

Recommended Presentation Materials (not mandatory).

  • Materials with information requested above, unless already included in the proposal.
  • Site tour for the General Mills representatives.
