If you have a Bachelor of Commerce degree, proven problem solving and analytical skills and strong planning and organizing abilities, the position of Sales Representative could be your first assignment, with responsibilities as follows:
- Monitor, manage and maximize General Mills' business development opportunities within an assigned geographical territory in Canada.
- Utilizing a variety of marketing and sales tools coupled with your analytical ability, effectively support consumer promotions & events, increase merchandising and distribution opportunities and enhance on-shelf visibility.
- Identify new business opportunities within the retail environment.
- Cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with customers, business team members and operating departments.
- Be prepared to relocate within Canada as career progresses.
This position reports to a manager, Retail Sales Development. Frequent contact is maintained with other business team members and functional areas.
This is an entry-level Customer Business Development (CBD) position, and is considered a key developmental job for a career in CBD management.
