If you are an HBA/BBA or MBA graduate with a Marketing focus, opportunities exist to join a multi-functional business team as an Assistant Marketing Manager, with responsibilities as follows:
- Develop and execute Marketing Plans and programs to fulfill marketing volume, share and profit objectives under the guidance of the Marketing Manager. Accountabilities include:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies and tactics and revise them throughout the year to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
- Lead a cross-functional business team by cultivating and maintaining effective working relationships with various operating departments and outside agencies as the key brand contact.
- Make recommendations on various components of the marketing plan based on analyses of sales trends, profitability, competitive activities and market potential. Marketing plan components would include activities such as advertising, promotion, pricing, product formulation, and sales volume.
- Demonstrate innovation and creativity in bringing new ideas and solutions to the business.
- Actively manage working relationships with the Advertising Agency to support and enable planning sessions, communication strategy/implementation and media purchasing.
- Maintain control and update business team on assigned product budgets.
This position reports to a Marketing Manager with opportunities to present recommendations to the Marketing Vice Presidents and the President under the guidance of the Marketing Manager.
The Assistant Marketing Manager classification is considered a key developmental level within the marketing organization leading to the job of Marketing Manager.
