Distribution Management Assistants (DMA)
(18-24-month rotational, entry-level position)
- Learn the fundamentals of logistics management at General Mills
- Rotate through a variety of positions, including:
- Production Scheduler: develop production schedules for your manufacturing plant and maintain inventory levels for customer service facilities
- Ingredient Planner: use state-of-the-art SAP/MRP system to order ingredients and packaging materials needed to meet production demands, manage product shelf life and warehouse inventories
- Outbound Planner: Manage shipment of finished product, maximize transportation efficiencies and maintain warehouse finished product inventories
- Team Leader: Lead a crew of production or warehouse employees, ensuring production, safety and quality objectives are met
- Prepare for positions of greater responsibility based on your performance
Education
Competitive Logistics candidates hold bachelor's degrees in supply chain management, transportation & logistics or industrial engineering.
