As president of our U.S. Retail Snacks operating unit, Michele Meyer is responsible for snack brands including Nature Valley snack bars, Betty Crocker fruit snacks and Chex Mix.

In her previous role as president of the Meals division, she oversaw business operations of five meal categories: Helper dinner mixes, Old El Paso Mexican products, Progresso soups and ingredients, and Betty Crocker side dishes.

Before that, she was named president of General Mills’ Small Planet Foods division in June 2007. 

With Small Planet, she was responsible for leading the marketing and business plans for Cascadian Farm and Muir Glen organic brands.

Meyer also has served as vice president and marketing director in the Big G cereal division for strategic growth channels and adult cereal. 

She began her career at General Mills in 1988 in the Big G division and has since worked in various marketing and sales leadership positions throughout the company, including the Bakeries & Foodservice division, Shopper Marketing department, and Cereal Partners Worldwide – General Mills’ joint venture with Nestlé.

Meyer was promoted to senior vice president in 2014.
