Jerry Lynch

Vice President, Chief Sustainability Officer

Jerry Lynch was appointed vice president, chief sustainability officer in 2010. In this role, he leads the company’s environmental sustainability efforts globally.

Lynch previously had been vice president of applied sustainability, where he led sustainability business integration and program development worldwide.

Lynch began his career at General Mills in 1995. Since then, he has served in various marketing and commercial roles in International, Big G, Betty Crocker, Snacks, Meals, Category Management, and Corporate Development, including four years as director of marketing for General Mills Europe, Middle East and North Africa.

In addition to his day job, Lynch volunteers his time coordinating the Management Knowledge Transfer initiative as part of the company’s African Women's and Children's Hunger Project.
